SHIMSHAL PAMIR TREK:

Shimshal valley (2880m) is situated in the northeast of the Hunza and about 52km from Karakuram Highway. This spectarculer trek takes us to one of the most remote inhabited area of the Karakuram. It begins through the narrow gorge, which opens up in the Shimshal Valley. Shimshal is one of the oldest settlements of Wakhi people in the Hunza region. There are 130 household and above than 1200 people, all of them are Ismaili Muslim. This trek attracts and provide great opportunities to the trekkers to explore many glaciers, several peaks, passes, meadows, streams, lush green land, wild flower pastures and you will see the wild-life in Shimshal national park.

Day-01 Arrival to Islamabad and transfer to hotel, in the balance of the time sightseeing in Islamabad / Rawalpindi.
Day-02 Drive to Chilas 11-12hrs /hotel
Day-03 Continue drive to Gilgit 2-3 hrs/hotel
Day-04 Drive to Karimabad Hunza 3 hours/hotel
Day-05  Day free in Karimabad for local expoloration
Day-06 Drive to Passu (2400m) 2-hrs/hotel
Day-07 Trek to Shimshal Village (2880m) 3-5 hrs/ camp
Day-08 Day free in Shimshal Village
Day-09 Trek to Pastforzin 5-6 hrs/ camp
Day-10 Trek to Harbab Puerion 5-6 hrs/camp
Day-11 Trek to Shuwerth (4389m) via Shimshal Pass 5-6 hrs/camp
Day-12 Day free in Shuwerth to local expoloration
Day-13 Trek back to Harbob Purien 6-7 hrs /camp
Day-14 Trek to Mai dur 6-7hrs/camp
Day-15 Trek to Shapodin Pass (5180m) 6-hrs/camp
Day-16 Trek to Shimshal Village 6-hrs/camp
Day-17 Drive to Chilas 5-6 hrs / hotel
Day-18 Continue to Islamabad 11-12 hrs/hotel
Day-19 Day free in Islamabad.
Day-20 Fly back to homeland
